CLOSED - EARLY JALAPENO - last update 10/25/2019

I've carried this guy over for several seasons now. It's getting woody and gnarly, but still throwing new growth, flowering, and fruiting.  Plan on using these wooden planters to house "mother plants" of different pepper varieties to collect seeds to sell.  Probably ought to get rid of this plant since it's old and produces abnormally small peppers.

Stripped out pretty good by stinking hornworms.

A couple months later, plant has recovered and replaced stripped growth with new.

Pulled the plant around a month ago.  It was getting too woody with too little foilage.  Currently have fushimi, Stavros pepperoncini, Filius Blue, bell peppers, and giant jalapenos going.  Very impressed with the Early Jalapeno cultivar.  Have seeds saved and plan on growing it again.  The plant itself seems to get much bigger and bushier than the giant jalapeno.
